Time celebrates 50th anniversary

Time International is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of Time Manufacturing in the US, with the launch new Versalift aerial work platforms.

Unveiled at a sales meeting at Time International’s headquarters in Farsø, Denmark, the five anniversary models are modified versions of its existing 13/14 metre van mounts intended for street light maintenance.

Mounted on 3.5 tonne Mercedes Sprinter and Ford Transit chassis, the two Light models feature a 90 degree articulating jib and offer an outreach of up to 7.2 metres and a maximum platform capacity of 200kg. Two Medium models offer up to 7.9 metres of outreach, depending on Transit/Sprinter chassis, and a maximum platform capacity of 230kg. They also offer up to 110 degrees of jib articulation.

The final model, mounted on a five tonne Mercedes Sprinter chassis, offers a 230kg platform capacity and up to 180 degrees of articulation. Features on all models include a lightweight sub-frame system made from high strength steel, A-frame outriggers, 360 degree lift rotation and electro-hydraulic IPC controls with two joysticks.

All five models were presented at the company’s test and training facilities in Farsø


Time Manufacturing Company was founded in Clifton, Texas in 1965. The special anniversary models will be available for the European markets from the beginning of next month.
