Dromad expands access fleet

Irish general rental company Dromad Hire has taken delivery of four new aerial work platforms from UK distributor APS.

The order comprises of a 17 metre Hinowa 17.75 Performance IIIS spider lift, two Niftylift trailer lifts – a 12 metre petrol/electric 120 PTE and a 17 metre diesel/electric 170 TDE – and a Manitou 100VJR mast boom.

Dromad Hire managing director Seamus Byrne said: “Our Hinowa tracked booms are increasingly in demand as they are such versatile machines. They are ideal for working on boggy or soft ground and are also the perfect machine for atrium work. We are also supplying a lot of tree surgeons, particularly as pruning season gets underway.”
