24 metre LeoGT for Intermat
German spider and truck mounted lift manufacturer Teupen will launch the 24 metre Leo24GT spider lift at Intermat next month.
Offering an additional three metres working height, compared to the 21 metre Leo21GT launched at Bauma last year, the new model share similar features and dimensions, including an outreach of 12 metres, a platform capacity of 250kg and transport dimensions of 1.99 metres high, 980mm wide and 6.40 metres long – five metres with the platform removed. Height and width adjustable tracks, radio remote controls and a detachable/180 degree rotatable basket are also available on both models.
Weighing 350kg more than the Leo21GT at 3,300kg, the 24 boasts an extra third section in the telescopic riser for the extra height and an improved up and over reach. It also features the company’s latest platform which can be disassembled into several components, helping with transportation as well as reducing the repair costs when damaged - ie only needing to replace the damaged section.
Teupen chief executive Michael Scheuss, said: “Both models make the perfect team for the future! On the same technical platform they combine innovative technology with market leading performance data. At the same time the very high degree of similarity offers advantages in user training, maintenance and spare parts support – a clear benefit not only for rental companies.”

The company has also introduced a Lithium-ion battery drive system for six its Leo models. The company claims the 48V/120Ah battery pack is able to fit into the same housing as the regular engine and that 100 percent charging only requires just over two hours.
