A hat-trick for Furniture Hoist

The Furniture Hoist Company, which was established last year as UK agents for Paus hoists and elevators (New furniture hoist company), has delivered its first units.

Merton-based Greenstone Roofing has taken delivery of a lightweight Easy trailer unit which has a maximum height of 18 metres, while removal company Britannia Sanderstead has taken a 25 metre Easy Big trailer unit. FF&E Supplies has also taken delivery of a 27 metre Contra mounted on a 3.5 tonne Nissan Cabstar for general site work throughout Ireland.

Gary Grogan of FF&E Supplies said: “We have identified a market for general on-site lifting of small loads. The excellent lift height, capacity and compact size of the Paus Contra makes it a viable, cost effective alternative to small cranes and telehandlers.”

Gary Brady, owner of The Furniture Hoist Company, added: “We are extremely pleased that our belief in the elevator concept is now shared by so many companies, each of which has seen the advantages for their own specific markets. We are seeing significant increases in demand from a wide range of industrial and commercial sectors.”

The company has also taken delivery of a 28 metre Easy Big trailer unit for its rental fleet. It also planning to bring a machine along to Vertikal Days on May 13th and 14th.
