Russian GSR

The first two GSR truck mounted lifts built specifically for the Russian utility market have gone into service, following a long testing programme over the winter period.

The two lifts, a 17 metre E179T and 29 metre E290PX, were mounted on locally produced vehicles that were also being scrutinised for their performance in the arduous terrain and tough climatic conditions encountered by the crews installing and repairing overhead electricity and telephone lines.
