New Liebherr reachstacker

Liebherr Maritime Cranes has launched the first model in a new Pulser reachstacker product line, the LRS 545. The new machine can stacks containers weighing up to 45 tonnes five high in the first row, and 31 tonnes in the second row.

Total weight is 70 tonnes and it is powered a four cylinder Liebherr EU Stage IV / EPA Tier 4 final diesel matched to a hydrostatic transmission. An optional hybrid drive system provides even more power, with Liebherr’s Pactronic hybrid power booster, that has been in operation on its mobile harbour cranes for five years.

The all new Liebherr Pulser LRS 545 reachstacker

A new high visibility cab can be equipped with either a steering wheel or steer-by-wire control. Each wheel of the new reach stacker is driven and steered separately, for improved manouverability with less wear and tear on the components.
