90 Hiabs for Coates

Australian rental company Coates Hire has placed a €2 million order for 90 Hiab telescopic and knuckle boom loader cranes.

The majority of the new cranes will be Hiab’s recently introduced T Series of compact telescopics, that can be mounted on pickups and light trucks. They are also simple and easy to use and relatively light in weight. The T-CLX029 can lift up to 1.6 tonnes or reach to a radius of almost 5.5 metres. It can take half a tonne out to 4.5 metres.

Coates Hire is a long term customer of Hiab Australia, and runs an extensive delivery fleet, the first deliveries will begin later this month, with completion of the order due during the first quarter 2016.

Steve Coonan, Hiab Australia’s national sales manager: Added: "We are delighted to have received this major order in one of our key segments. The T-crane was very positively received when it was launched at the Brisbane truck show in May of this year.
