Prolift Access adds truck mounts

UK based rental company Prolift Access is entering the truck mounted lift market with, what it calls will be a significant investment in the sector. The first example of this is the delivery of a 33 metre Ruthmann T330 telescopic mounted on a 7.5 tonne MAN chassis.

The new machine offers up to 21 metres of outreach, 185 degrees of jib articulation, 320kg maximum platform capacity and 180 degrees of platform rotation all in a compact machine with an overall length of 8.8 metres.

Prolift's new Ruthmann TL330 marks its entry into the truck mounted market

Manging director Andy Pearson said: "This order marks the start of a big investment into the truck-mounted aerial platform sector, which will continue into 2016. We are looking to expand our vehicle-mounted fleet over the coming year and this T330 is an impressive top-quality addition."

The move follows a £3 million investment this year to expand rental fleet, to meet demand and stock a new branch has opened in Bristol.
