UpRent takes on Runshare
Chinese aerial lift company Runshare has appointed sales and rental company UpRent as its dealer for Croatia and the Balkans.
Established in the city of Split UpRent now operates from two locations, having opened a branch in Zagreb. The first Runshare platforms are due to arrive in Croatia in the next few weeks.
UpRent currently features Isoli, Genie, UpRight, JLG, Manitou and Teupen in its promotional efforts. It was also due to open additional outlets this year in Rijeka and Osijek, as well as moving into Bosnia Herzogovina, although as far as we are aware this has yet to happen.
Harold Amendt chief executive of Runshare Europe said: “Runshare continues to expand in Europe and is increasing the Runshare European distribution network. As part of this progamme we are pleased to announce that the Croatian company Uprent, will distribute Runshare's work platforms in the Croatian market and other Balkan countries”.

We can now offer a wide range of aerial work platform possibilities in rent or purchase. The first series of Runshare machines will be arriving in the coming weeks and we are looking forward to a long collaboration”.
Harold Amendt is also the joint owner of Dutch company Hoogwerkerstunter, which launched Sinoboom Europe this time last year, Sinoboom has struggled to get started in Europe and the relationship did not work out. Amendt and his partners therefore teamed up with Runshare to form Runshare Europe, which was launched in September at Verticaal Dagen 2015, Amendt is joined by Ludo Maenen of Hoogwerkerstunter and Filip Cossaer in the new venture.
