Police in Grantham, UK have announced that a man died yesterday at an industrial plant in Grantham, Lincolnshire after he fell from a “cherry picker”.

Lincolnshire police confirm the man died after falling from a “cherry picker”
The incident occurred at the Fruehauf trailer plant in the town, when the 64 year old operator fell to the ground, no further details of what caused him to fall, or why he was not wearing a harness have not been released.
Detective inspector Simon Bromiley of the Lincolnshire police said: “The Health & Safety Executive has been informed of this incident and a joint investigation is underway. It is common practice for us to work together at the early stages of an industrial accident of this nature before deciding who will lead on it. At this stage the investigation is attempting to clarify exactly what happened and we will report our findings to Her Majesty’s Coroner."
