Two more 60 tonners for Marsh

UK crane and telehandler rental company Marsh Plant Hire has added a further two three axle Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain cranes to its fleet, following a similar order for two last year.

The 60 tonne all wheel steer LTM 1060-3.1 features a 48 metre main boom, a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension is also available, although Marsh decided not to take this option on these two cranes.

Marsh Plant managing director Andy Honeywell said: “This machine is absolutely perfect for our clients - compact, highly manoeuvrable with a long boom that enables it to be used for many applications previously requiring a larger four to five axle crane. We have always supported Liebherr and a great deal of our fleet is made up of cranes from its range. We are particularly impressed with our five axle 130 tonne LTM 1130-5.2 and are considering additional units.”
