Mateco takes Rohrmoser

German rental company Mateco, owned by TVH, has acquired Munich based access rental company Rohrmoser Arbeitsbühnen from the Rohrmoser family.

The deal was completed on Monday and the process to integrate it into Mateco has already begun. So far no details have been released on the deal of how it will be handled, but the company has said that it will issue a further statement in the coming days. Mateco was itself acquired by TVH in 2012 and currently runs a fleet of around 7,000 aerial lifts in Germany.

Rohrmoser was originally based in in Gräfelfing near Munich, buthaving outgrown its prmises, spent two years planning and developing a purpose built facility in Freiham, a new residential area on the western edge of the Bavarian capital. It moved into the new buildings during 2012 and this will now operate as Mateco Munich-West.
