New Ruthmann for Extreme

UK based rental company Extreme Powered Platforms has taken delivery of a 48 metre Ruthmann T 480 truck mounted platform.

Mounted on an 18 tonne chassis, the T 480's four section main boom with a two section jib provides 32 metres of outreach, and a maximum platform capacity of 600kg. The machine was delivered by local distributor Access Sales International.

Extreme managing director Stuart Bond said: “Having run two Ruthmann truck mounts in our fleet and having received a fantastic service and support from Darren Sutton at ASI, it was an easy decision to choose this fantastic product. We have been re-hiring large truck mounts on a weekly basis for some time now, so we knew we could put it straight to work. Jason Dextor at Victor Finance located a fantastic deal with Quantum, who are new to the access industry. The truck will be based at our West London depot, but has a sleeper cab so we can deploy it anywhere in the UK.”

Extreme operates from three locations, in Coventry - West Midlands, Hailsham - East Sussex and Shepperton, near London and recently became a member of the Access Alliance.
