Five insulated Versalifts for CEZ

Czech power company CEZ has taken delivery of five high voltage insulated Versalift VO-355-MHI over-centre truck mounted platforms.

Identical to an order placed by the company this time last year, the full hydraulic VO-355-MHI is mounted on a 4x4 MAN TGM 18.340 chassis and lower boom with fiberglass insert has a 101 degrees of articulation, while the side mounted upper boom has up to 210 degrees of articulation. Rated a 138kV, the VO-355-MHI will be used for live line maintenance of the Czech power grid.

The VO-355-MHI has a working height of 19.4 metres with an over-centre outreach of 14.8 metres and a non-over-centre outreach of 11 metres. The dual platform setup has a capacity of 136kg in each bucket, dual 90 degree platform rotators and a material handler with a capacity of 905kg. The machine has 360 degree continuous slew and is also fitted with extendable H-frame outriggers.
