Nordic rep for IPAF
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has appointed Kent Boström as the company's Nordic and Baltic representative.
Boström joins IPAF from water-powered drilling specialist Wassara, where he was communications manager for four and a half years through his own company, KB Communications. Before that he was communications manager for TT Water & Wastewater for a year.
He began his career as a PC technician for XP Media in 1998, before moving onto dewatering pump manufacturer Grindex to work in the same position. After spending nearly two years in that role, he became marketing communicator for the company, a position he held for 10 years.

IPAF representatives are responsible for liaising with government and industry organisations, recruiting new IPAF members and training centres, and promoting IPAF’s safety initiatives and training programmes.
Managing director Tim Whiteman said: "The Nordic region is seeing fast-growing demand for IPAF’s services. I am delighted that Kent is coming on board to help us further promote the safe and effective use of powered access here. His experience in international marketing and communications, and in-depth knowledge of the industrial and construction sectors make him well-suited to this exciting role.”
