Contractor scraps Scaffold for Mast climbers

The Jurys Inn building site, in central Milton Keynes, that suffered the massive scaffold collapse in April that injured three and killed one man, has stripped out all of its façade scaffold and is installing mast climbers this week in order to improve safety and speed up progress in order to complete the job, which is now well overdue, as fast as possible.

A heavy duty high reach scissor and boom lifts helped install the mast climbers which are going up all round the building.

The original completion date for the project was scheduled for this week, but the accident has caused extensive delays while the HSE investigation continued.
