New crane makes it 40

UK based NMT Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 60 tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain crane taking its fleet to 40 units, in its 40th year of business.

The three axle All Terrain crane has a five section 48 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, which provides a maximum tip height of 67 metres, and a maximum radius of 48 metres.

Liebherr GB area sales manager Steve Elliott said: "We are extremely pleased to have delivered NMT’s 40th crane on their 40th anniversary. The Liebherr product brings with it lots of operational benefits to our customers new and existing. The LTM 1060-3.1 will be a great addition to NMT's growing fleet."

NMT director Tim Ambridge added: "We are proud to be celebrating our 40 years in business and to take delivery of our 40th crane in the fleet.This will be running out of our London depot. We hadn’t expected to purchase anything this year due to the exchange rate and uncertainty over Brexit, however this is the fifth crane to be delivered this year, and the last six months has seen our best turnover and profit ever in 40 years."
