A moles eye view

Moleseye, the operator of Scotland’s national plant register, has launched the UKs first national underground assets protection system.

Moleseye One-Call (UK) is an online version of the Scottish service, which has been working to reduce the country’s damage to plant caused by street works and excavations over the last 20 years.

Contractors, architects, street works companies, etc, will all be able to check the location of possible hazards underground via a free online search. The submerged assets are registered on the system by utility companies. Moleseye believes the utilities industry will save up to £90 million per year.
