Grove offers 60 metre boom option on new 100 tonner

Grove will launch a long-boom version of its new Grove GMK4100 All-Terrain crane that it launched at Intermat earlier this year.

The long boom version of the GMK4100 features a 60 metre seven-section main boom, which telescopes to its maximum tip height in less than nine minutes.

The GMK4100-L uses the same 10 to 17 metre swingaway as the standard crane, when the five metre insert is added, the unit offers a maximum tip height of 83 metres.

12 tonne axle loadings can be achieved with 6.3 tonnes of counterweight, 16.00 tyres and a 20 tonne hook block.
