Hovago adds to management team

Netherlands based crane sales and bare rental specialist Hovago Cranes has added to its management team.

Marcel Riemslag has been promoted to general manager Hovago Cranes with the responsibility for leading the company’s management team and the business as a whole as well as developing the company strategies. Reimslag has been sales manager since joining Hovago in 2000 following a 10 year stint with Manitowoc Cranes Europe, where he was sales engineer and then sales manager.

Robert Hermans joins the company as international sales manager, he previously spent more than three years as managing director of Lisman Forktrucks Asia, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Prior to that he was sales manager at Alutech Netherlands, a supplier of diesel tankls for commercial vehicles. He has worked in other companies within the automotive sector, including Siemens and Denso. The company said: “Robert’s appointment will strengthen Hovago’s management team, enabling the company to better serve its customers and further professionalize its global business.”
