Kiloutou moves into Italy

French general rental company Kiloutou has acquired two associate companies in North Italy - Cofiloc and Euronol.

The acquisition gives Kiloutou 10 locations in Treviso, Verona and Modena, around 90 employees and a fleet of 4,000 machines, including aerial lifts, spider cranes, tower cranes and telehandlers along with a range of earthmoving equipment. Details of the transaction have not been disclosed. The founders and key managers will remain with the business and continue to run the company.

Cofiloc rents cranes and access equipment

Kiloutou chief executive Xavier du Boÿs said: "This acquisition allows Kiloutou to pursue our plans for international expansion by gaining access to a market strong potential. The locations of Cofiloc and Euronol in the North of Italy, and their excellent reputation are particularly well adapted to build market leading base in a market which is very fragmented.”
