Banner expands

UK rental company Banner Plant has taken delivery of four Snorkel slab electric scissor lifts, two 15ft S3215Es and two 20ft S3220E. Both models have an overall width of 812mm, the 3215 has a 6.5 metre working height with a platform capacity of 272kg, while the 3220 has 8.1 metres and 408kg.

The new machines are part of a fleet expansion programme following the acquisition of Premier Plant and Tool Hire in April, See Banner acquires Premier adding aerial lift equipment to the two new locations in Leicestershire. The latest machines join a number of six metre/2,500kg Genie GTH-2506 Telehandlers, and two new 60ft Genie Z60/37FE hybrid articulated booms.

Phil James of Banner said: “We recently opened the door to additional manufacturers, and I have been extremely impressed with Snorkel as they are very easy to work with. Linda Betts from Snorkel UK provides us with great service and always delivers on her promises. I have barely seen the new lifts in our fleet as they are all out on hire and our customers love them! I look forward to this being the start of a long and trustworthy relationship.”
