600 telehandlers for A-Plant

UK rental company A-Plant has ordered 600 JCB telehandlers, part of a 1,200 unit deal worth over £55 million.

UK rental company A-Plant – the UK arm of Ashtead - has placed an order with JCB for 1,200 new machines, including 600 telehandlers, a number of Rough Terrain forklifts, 450 excavators and a number of dumpers, plus 162 JCB generators in a deal worth £55 million. The machines will be supplied through JCB dealer Greenshields JCB.

A-Plant marketing director Asif Latief said: “The latest products are more innovative, productive, safer, greener and more sustainable.
