Hird expands fleet

Hull based Peter Hird is spending £1.5 million with Genie and Manitou for rough terrain booms and small industrial scissor lifts.

The Manitou booms have been ordered through Russon Access.
Hird says that the majority of the units are aimed at expansion, rather than replacement, due to current high utilisation levels.

45 of the units have already been delivered with the balance due later this year and into 2007.
