Bio-degradable scaffold?

Spotted in the UK a couple of weeks ago a homemade wood scaffold on the front of a family home.

The highly unusual structure has been built to span a skip and has been put together in an extremely ad hoc manner, hard to imagine that any self-respecting tradesman would stand back and be proud of this structure, let alone use it.

A scaffold with a difference in the UK

Unless we are missing something this one looks highly likely to result in a fall or injury. Just getting up onto the platform requires some climbing skills, and those platforms! Definitely one for our Death Wish series.
