Man dies in fall from crane

A man died last week at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel in the USA, after he fell from the overhead crane he was working on. The man, William Druschel, 55, from Moundsville, was working on one of the cranes motors inside the 80-Inch Hot Strip Mill, when he fell.

He died on Impact; he was working on the crane itself, rather than from a work platform. His colleagues at the plant say that he was not wearing a safety harness. An investigation into how it happened is currently underway.
