750t Liebherr for Finland
Finnish crane rental company J. Helaakoski has purchased the first 750 tonne Liebherr LTM1750-9.1 in Finland.
The crane is due to arrive in Finland during the first quarter of 2018, along with two other new Liebherr cranes, a five axle 160 tonne LTM1160-5.2 All Terrain and a 100 tonne LTR1100 telescopic crawler. The three units will take the number of new Liebherr cranes delivered to the company in a 12 month period to 10, including:
Three 130 tonne five axle LTM1130-5.1 , two 160 tonne LTM1160-5.2, a 200 tonne LTM1200-5.2 and the 750 tonne LTM1750-9.1 All Terrains, plus a 130 tonne LR1130 and a 250 tonne LR1250 lattice crawler cranes and the LTR1100 telescopic crawler.

The new cranes take the total crane fleet to 50 units from Liebherr, Demag/Terex, Grove and Kobelco, ranging from a 25 tonne Kobelco city type All Terrain to the new 750 tonner. The company also runs a fleet of telehandlers, mostly 360 degree models from Merlo and Manitou, a few truck and trailer mounted platforms from Bronto, Palfinger and Dinolift, plus a number of self-propelled boom and scissor lifts from JLG and Aichi.
J. Helaakoski was established in 1989 and is based in Vantaa, close to Helsinki airport, with a branch in Tallinn, Estonia.
