Wolffkran moves into Belgium
Wolffkran the fast growing German tower crane manufacturer has opened a sales and service operation in Sint-Amands, Belgium. The location is halfway between Brussels and Antwerp, an area that Wolff says has the most intense construction activity in Belgium.
Frédéric Van Hoorebeke will manage the business, which will include both sales and rental activities. Van Hoorebeke believes that the rental business will, at least initially be the main source of revenue for the new facility.
Wolffkran says that this move has been taken in order to “open the door to the Benelux market a little further” and as a step along the way towards making Wolffkran a more international brand and business.
