New CEO for Time International
Time International, the export division of Waco, US based Time Manufacturing/Versalift has appointed Kim Bach Jensen as chief executive.
He was previously chief financial officer and will have overall responsibility for the company’s subsidiaries in Denmark, the UK and France. He replaces Per Cæsar Torp who remains with the company as director of sales and strategic planning.

Per Torp began his association with Time, when he founded the Danish company in 1985 and then formed a strategic partnership with the American platform producer. In 2001 he sold the company to Time, since when it has been the global export division responsible for the sale of Versalift vehicle mounted platforms across all markets outside of North and South America. He was also involved with last year’s management buy out from previous owner O’Flaherty Holdings.
Kim Bach Jensen’s promotion has been planned for some time as the next step in the succession process. An accountant by education, he joined the company in 2009 as head of administration, finance, IT and management systems. He has gradually moved up through the organisation and as part of the succession plan as appointed as chief executive of Time Danmark in 2016.

He joined the company from AV Form, a supplier of audio visual equipment to schools, where he was chief financial officer. He began his career as an accountant with Krøyer Pedersen, moving to Egholm Maskiner as finance manager in 1998 where he remained for more than nine years, moving to farm equipment supplier Samson Agro in 2007, and then a year later AV Form.
Martin Lybæk Christiansen takes over Bach Jensen’s role as chief financial officer. He joins the company from software and IT specialist KMD where he was senior controller.

Speaking of the changes Per Torp said: “Following a period of illness in 2017, I decided to ask for an acceleration of the planned succession and pass the torch to Kim Bach Jensen a bit sooner than planned.
