Weldex orders narrow track Demag CC2800

Weldex - the UKs largest crane hire company - has ordered a narrow track Demag CC2800-1 NT. With its narrow width and ability to track and turn fully rigged, the unit has been designed specifically for wind farm work.

Travelling on a 4 degree side slope is possible

Weldex currently has two LR 1400/2-W - Liebherr's 400 tonne capacity wind farm crane. However, with increasing turbine heights, the company needed the bigger 600 tonne capacity of the Demag.
