Custom Truck Terex order

US sales and rental company Custom Truck & Equipment has ordered 14 Terex cranes, five 21.3 tonne BT 4792 boom trucks, five 72.5 tonne Crossover 8000 boom truck/ truck cranes and four 72.5 tonne HC 80 lattice boom crawler cranes.

The Terex BT 4792 features a 28 metre main boom, plus a 13.4 metre extension that provides a maximum tip height of 43.9 metres. The Crossover 8000 features a 38.4 metre main boom and a 17.1 metre extension to give a maximum tip height of 57.9 metres. The Terex HC 80 can be rigged with up to 61 metres of main boom can be extended to 73.15 metres with a fixed jib. The new cranes will be available later this year at the company's Kansas City location.
