Liebherrs for Saudi

Saudi Arabian crane rental company Rezayat Sparrow has taken delivery of two Liebherr All Terrain cranes, a 500 tonne LTM 1500-8.1 and a 250 tonne LTM 1250-5.1, with 16 more on order.

The eight axle LTM 1500-8.1 features a seven section 84 metre main boom plus Y-Guy superlift system, and can be equipped with a 91 metre luffing jib or a 56 metre fixed jib. The five axle LTM 1250-5.1 features a 60 metre main boom, plus a 36 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which can be extended to 50 metres with inserts, and offset hydraulically by up to 45 degrees. Both cranes were immediately deployed to a major shutdown in Yanbu, western Saudi Arabia.

Other cranes on order include one 300 tonne LTM 1300-6.2, one 200 tonne LTM 1200-5.1, four 160 tonne LTM 1160-5.2s, two 130 tonne LTM 1130-5.1s, five 100 tonne LTM 1100-5.2s, one 100 tonne LTM 1100-4.2 and two 70 tonne LTM 1070-4.2s.
