Mammoet opens in Kazakhstan
The Mammoet-Kasmashal joint venture in Kazakhstan, has opened its first office in the west coast city of Aktau.
The new operation will employ up to 40 and its fleet will include a 500 tonne Liebherr LR 1500 crawler crane, 500 tonne Liebherr LTM 1500 All Terrain crane, a Sennebogen crawler crane, a Kobelco crawler crane and two Rough Terrain cranes, along with 60 axle lines of self propelled modular transporters, as well as 24 axle lines of conventional trailers and 8x8 trucks. The new depot will predominantly provide services to the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining and wind energy sectors.

A Liebherr LR 1500 crawler crane will make its way to Kazakhstan
General director Geoffrey Collins said: “We already have a number of projects planned in the region and are mobilising equipment to Kazakhstan as a result. We are now equipped to meet the future demands of the Kazakhstan market.”
