Yongmao gets serious in Europe

Yongmao one of China’s major tower crane producers is in the final stages of organising its entry into the mainstream European tower crane market.

Jin Long of Brussels is the manufacturer’s representative for the region and it has taken on Sean O’Sullivan to head up its sales, marketing and distribution efforts.

The first 10 Yongmao tower cranes for the UK, made up of SST403 and SST293 flat top models are due to arrive shortly. The SST403 offers up to 24 tonnes of lift capacity at 3.8 metres radius and up to 73.6 metres free standing height. Maximum jib length is 80 metres with a 2.5 tonne lift capacity.

A Yongmao SST293 flat top

The SST293 offers up to 18 tonnes capacity at 3.8 metres and free standing height of 62.6 metres. Jib lengths are available to 74 metres with a 2.7 tonne lift capacity.

The cranes for the UK have been purchased by London Tower Cranes, which has been appointed as the UK/Ireland distributor. London also distributes Saez tower cranes from Spain.
