Morris opens in the North

Morris Material Handling, the Loughborough based overhead crane and material handling company has expanded its UK Service Centre network with a brand new facility in the north of England.

Located in Stockton-on-Tees, the 700 square metre (7,600 sq ft) Northern Regional Centre will provide dedicated round-the-clock material handling support services to Morris customers.

Pat Campbell, operations director-maintenance services, said: “The decision to invest in the new Service Centre demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with service support. We have not only attracted many new customers in the region, but have been equally successful in expanding the services that we provide to our existing clientele.”

Peter Burton northern regional operations manager will be responsible for the new facility, working in close cooperation with service centre manager, Peter Goodman, who is responsible for overseeing the activities of a 10-strong team of mobile engineers.

The new location is the 14th Service Centre in Morris’s UK network.
