220t Demag for Occilev

French rental and heavy haulage company Occilev has taken delivery of a 220 tonne Demag AC 220-5 All Terrain crane.

The five axle AC 220-5 features an eight section 78 metre main boom, plus an 11.4 to 21 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a 99 metre maximum tip height.

General manager Benjamin Cauvas said: “The AC 220-5 is the perfect machine for our projects in the greater Paris area. In particular, the hydraulic folding extension and the 78 metre main boom, which is the longest on a five axle unit, made it our first choice.”

Established in 2018, Occilev is a subsidiary of family run Cauvas, headquartered in Bonneuil-en-France near Paris. The company provides lifting services as well as heavy goods haulage, handling, and storage, with cranes ranging from 30 to 220 tonnes.
