Manitou adds UK dealers

Manitou has appointed three new dealers in the UK, Chandlers Farm Equipment, Rod Gaskin and Powerlift Materials Handling, and extended the territory covered by long time dealer A T Best.

Chandlers Farm Equipment operates from seven locations throughout England, but will distribute the Manitou telehandler range at its Belton, Horncastle, Spilsby, Holbeach and Barnack depots serving agricultural customers throughout Lincolnshire, eastern England.

Family owned Rod Gaskin farm equipment will distribute Manitou’s agricultural telehandlers from its location in Alton, Hampshire. The company was established in 1994 and has a second location in West Sussex.

Powerlift Materials Handling is based in Runcorn, Cheshire, north west England. The company distributes a range of equipment, including forklifts and tractors, and will distribute Manitou’s telehandlers across the greater Manchester region.

Established in 1997, A T Best has been supplying Manitou products in the west of Scotland has distributed Manitou telehandlers from its Airdrie depot for many years. Manitou has now extended its territory to cover the regions of Lothian and South Edinburgh, following the company's recent purchase of a new depot on the Macmerry Industrial Estate in East Lothian, which is currently being refurbished in preparation for a full opening later this year.
