New 31m Easy Lift
Italian aerial lift manufacturer Easy Lift is to launch a new 30 metre RA31 articulated tracked spider lift. The new machine has a three section telescopic riser/lower boom and three section top boom, crowned by a 1.8 metre jib with 170 degrees of articulation, and is the first Easy Lift to adopt this configuration.
The first unit, the RA31HY will be launched at Bauma with hybrid diesel/battery power, with a 200Ah 48 volt lithium battery back and the AC drive motor in addition to the diesel, all of which are compliant to the latest European, American and Asian standards.
When the engine is running a hydraulic generator automatically recharges the battery pack, while the high speed on board charger quickly replenishes the battery pack.

The new machine has 14.5 metres of outreach at a height of 15 metres
The booms are manufactured from high strength Strenx steel, allowing thin wall construction to save weight while the larger cross section design reduces flex and adds to rigidity. Maximum working height is 30.2 metres, with a maximum outreach of 14.5 metres at an up and over height of 15 metres, maximum platform capacity is 230kg. Total weight of the hybrid model is 4,300kg
The new machine’s outriggers are trued spider design, and can be set up in several different configurations in order to provide various length or widths of the working footprint, to suit different working areas. Overall stowed width is 890mm, overall height 1.9 metres and an overall length, with the basket removed, is 6.1 metres.
Extending track width provides greater stability for travel over undulating ground. Standard equipment includes Scanreco radio remote controls as well as a fixed control console in the platform and electric auxiliary/emergency pump. In order to make boom service or repair easier, new system enables quicker access to internal components and to remove and replace wear pads.
