46ft Genie electric scissor

Genie will launch the 46ft GS-4655 slab electric scissor lift at Bauma in a few weeks.

Available worldwide in the third quarter, the model provides a working height of just over 16 metres with a 350kg platform capacity. It has an overall width of 1.4 metres, weighs 3,538kg and has direct AC electric drive. The new lift is equipped with the SmartLink Control System diagnostics, and has been designed for routine work in warehouses and other facilities, along with construction applications such as electrical installation and finishing work. The GS-4655 will be available later this year

Product manager Zach Gilmor said: “Thanks to its heavy duty, fully sealed front wheel AC electric drive motors, the new Genie GS-4655 scissor lift is designed with sustainability, productivity and a low cost of ownership in mind. We engineered this model to deliver the height and emissions free power to work indoors and out, even in harsh outdoor jobsite conditions.”

“Maximising productivity, this model’s regenerative braking system also offers the benefit of industry leading battery runtime per charge. And replacing traditional hydraulic drive motors with its new AC system, this model relies on less hydraulic service points reducing service time and costs for a cleaner and greener usage.”
