Snorkel adds to UK team

Snorkel UK has appointed Jon Plaskitt as area sales manager and Neil Brown as service team manager.

Based in Lincolnshire, Plaskitt will be responsible for managing and developing Snorkel UK’s customer base in the eastern region of the country. He joins the company from Lincolnshire Motors, where he has been sales manager for the past nine years. Prior to that he was southern sales manager at Greenwood Hire.

He began his career in 1996 as machine operator with agricultural company CWBC, based in Artesia, New Mexico, USA. His first role in the access industry came in 2000 when he joined JLG as national sales manager for the UK and Ireland, moving to Greenwood Hire in 2009.

Jon Plaskitt

Brown will be responsible for leading the company’s field service operations and will take up his new role next month. He joined Snorkel in 2003, working within the global product support team until he was promoted to production manager three years ago.

Neil Brown

Snorkel UK managing director Andrew Fishburn said: “These are both key appointments for Snorkel UK, reinforcing our commitment to our growing customer base. Jon brings a wealth of sales knowledge to the team, and his mix of aerial work platform and agricultural background brings a valuable new perspective, as we target a wider range of customers with our expanding product line, such as our new telehandler range.”
