French sales manager for Spierings

Spierings has appointed David Colombat as sales manager for France.

Based in southern France he will also be responsible for the Wallonia region of Belgium, with the task of introducing the Spierings mobile tower crane concept to new customers in the region, while running the company's sales operations and looking after existing customers throughout France and south west Belgium.

He joins Spierings from tower crane anti-collision specialist SMIE, where he has been sales manager for the past eight years. Prior to that he was sales executive at crane camera specialist Orlaco, having joined the company in 2008.

He began his career in 2001 as a product manager at Renault, moving to Orlaco agent Agroinel- Orlaco as sales manager for France in 2003. In 2007 he was recruited by electrical company Stentorius as technical sales engineer, joining Gunnebo as a sales engineer the following year and then Orlaco.
