Empire to distribute Trimble

GPS and wireless technology specialist Trimble Lifting Solutions has appointed US based Empire Crane Company as a distributor.

Trimble manufactures equipment including load cells, load pins, angle sensors and wind speed sensors. Empire’s parts and service teams have been trained by Trimble technicians to address any product usage enquiries and provide technical support.

Established in 2002, Empire Crane is also an authorised dealer for Demag/Terex, Tadano Mantis, Kobelco Crawler Cranes, Shuttlelift carry deck cranes, Manitex boom trucks, Wolffkran tower cranes, and Magni telehandlers. It operates from three branches in Syracuse, New York, Bridgewater, New Jersey and Boston, Massachusetts.

Trimble sales manager Jeff Ryan said: “Empire’s service and parts departments include a well equipped staff with the skillsets required to provide the installation and technical support we look for in our dealer channel. This, along with carrying the level of inventory to ensure the least amount of potential downtime of equipment, will provide an ease of mind for the end user.”

Empire crane parts manager Jonelle Alberici added: “We strive to set ourselves apart from other dealerships by offering products that can improve efficiency, increase safety, and save our customers money. Trimble makes quality products that hit all three of these points.”
