Demag City for Schuch

German crane rental company Schuch has taken delivery of a 45 tonne Demag AC 45 City All Terrain crane.

The AC 45 features a 31.2 metre main boom and can telescope loads of up to 19.7 tonnes. A 7.1 to 13 metre offsettable swingaway extension takes the maximum on board tip height to over 45 metres. The company plans to use the crane to handle machinery and prefabricated home components. It replaces a 40 tonne Demag AC 40 City All Terrain crane in the company’s fleet.

Schuch’s new AC 45 City

Crane operator Dieter Hirsch said: “I operated the Demag AC 40 City for several years, so I am perfectly familiar with the quality that characterised every aspect of it. I also know that the new AC 45 City is even better at a bunch of things.”
