Ahern opens Spanish facility
Ahern International has officially opened its new facility in Madrid, Spain known as Ahern Ibérica.
Servicing customers in Spain and Portugal, Ahern Ibérica will provide sales, service and spare parts for Snorkel aerial lifts and telehandlers -

The new 2,000 square metre facility has been fully renovated and includes a 700 square metre warehouse for new machine storage, an 800 square metre workshop pre-delivery inspections, repairs and rebuilds, as well as a dedicated spare parts storage with walk in parts counter, and external yards to the front and rear of the property. The facility also houses a dedicated training room and offices, along with conference and meeting rooms.

The depot will stock new Snorkel machines
Led by managing director Enrique García Delgado, the company employs seven, including a customer service representative, sales managers for northern and southern Spain, a spare parts coordinator, a technical manager and a service technician. The grand opening event took place at the new facility last week with around 100 customers and suppliers attending. The event included tours, machine demonstrations and an official ribbon cutting ceremony.

Around 100 attended the opening
García Delgado said: “This is an exciting moment for both Ahern and Snorkel, as we officially open our first directly owned business here in Spain. I am incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication our new team has shown in getting this fantastic facility ready for the launch, and I hope today our valued customers can see that we are truly ready to support them.”
