Crane overturn in Oz
A five axle All Terrain crane overturned yesterday while working alongside an electrical substation in Melbourne, Australia.
We do not know too much detail, but it looks as though the crane, from the Melbourne Precast fleet was set up with outriggers not fully extended, while the full counterweight was installed and short boom raised to maximum elevation causing it to be back heavy and overturn. It was being used to tilt up concrete panels at the time.

The issue looks as though it may be related to the set up
The power company cut power to around 27,000 homes as a precaution, while the operator suffered minor injuries, and was treated for them at the scene, while no one else was involved in the incident.
Worksafe is investigating the cause. We will update as soon as we learn more or receive any more photographs from the scene.
