100th Liebherr mobile harbour crane in Spain
Liebherr has delivered its 100th mobile harbour crane to be sold in Spain, an LHM 600 for shipping company Maritima del Principado.
The LHM 600 has a maximum radius of 58 metres, twin lift capability and can service vessels up to 19 container rows wide and nine container stacks high. The crane was handed over at a ceremony at Maritima del Principado’s location in Gijón, northern Spain.

The 100th Liebherr mobile harbour crane
Liebherr delivered its first mobile harbour crane - an LHM 1300 - to Spain in 1992, that unit is still in operation today. Spain joins Russia and India as the one of the three countries that have taken delivery of 100 or more Liebherr mobile harbour cranes.

Liebherr sales director of mobile harbour cranes Andreas Müller said: “Today the total population of mobile harbour cranes working in Spain is 179 machines.
