German remote control company HBC-radiomatic has expanded its facility in Hebron, Kentucky, USA.
An additional 1,200 square metres of floor space has been added to the facility, with the expansion launched with an open house event attended by than 200 visitors over the two day event, including guests from India, Spain and Switzerland. The expansion includes a new product showroom designed for customers to gain experience with the manufacturer’s product line.
Chief executive Jeff Allan said: “It was important for the US staff to share what they have accomplished, and it was especially nice to see the pride as the team not only welcomed their business guests, but also their families. The sizeable local expansion is a very important step for the US operation and reflects HBC’s ongoing investments, over more than 20 years in North America, for domestic, market focused support. The strong representation from HBC Germany was another indication of this commitment.”
“Giving our customers first hand access to HBC-radiomatic product was an essential element of the expansion plans and the new showroom provided our visitors with the chance to experience the functionality of the product, the quality of the range, and the technical possibilities that are not easy to recognise when looking at a product brochure or web page. The showroom sparked a great deal of ideas and discussion about several new applications for radio controls.”
