Manitowoc appoints new VP

Manitowoc Crane Group has appointed Bob Hund as the new vice president of worldwide marketing. He fills the role vacated by Larry Bryce who was promoted to vice president of business development last October.

Bob Hund, vice president, worldwide marketing

Hund, who spent the last 18 years with Caterpillar, will report to Bryce and be responsible for strategic planning and execution of marketing functions. He will also be responsible for leading the global new product development team.

He began his career as a manufacturing and systems engineer and later moved to marketing, working with construction and mining trucks in Europe and the Far East. Most recently, Hund was the global product development manager for motor graders, trucks and scrapers.
