Palazzani for Russian theatre

Construction company Fun Generation has taken a 32 metre Palazzani TZ 330 ECO lithium-ion powered spider lift for work on the new Concert Hall located in the Moscow International Business Centre.

The lift, which was delivered by sales and rental company Vertex, provides an outreach of 16.5 metres with a platform capacity of 120kg and a slightly reduced outreach of 15.5 metres with its maximum capacity of 250kg. Features include non-marking tracks, air and water supply to the platform, an anti-collision system fitted to the basket and a hydraulic winch option with a 250kg lift capacity. The company will use the spider lift on the final stages of construction, it will then remain on site for ongoing general maintenance and cleaning work.

Once complete, the 1,576 seat concert hall will host entertainment events, gala concerts, and forums. The exterior of the building has been designed to resemble an inlaid clock face with working mechanisms around its façade and features a 64 metre retractable glass dome in the form of a clock.
