EPL's new 17.7m outreach E228TJ
“Although we operate a number of other 22m working height platforms, the new SkyKing E228TJ provides almost a metre more outreach without comprising on safety or stability,” said EPL’s business development manager Danny Cooper. “We also liked the fact that even when narrow jacked it can still provide a very useful 10m outreach and offers single sided jacking which means we still can still achieve optimum access in the most awkward or confined spaces.”
“SkyKing is a key supplier to us,” said Cooper, “its machines currently make up about 15 percent of our truck-mounted fleet and 35 percent of our van-mounts. Operator feedback on the new E228TJ has been excellent. The hydraulic controls enable multi-boom operation making it fast and easy to operate and as it is hydraulic machine rather than electro-hydraulic there is much less chance of breakdown. We are extremely pleased with the new model and most importantly it is proving to be a popular choice with our customers and is very much in demand.”
EPL Access has fleet of 400 machines including truck and van-mounted platforms, under bridge inspection units, self propelled booms and scissor lifts. The company also specialises in providing customers with fully comprehensive IPAF approved training programmes.
